  Big rooms, tv’s in living and sleeping area. Comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Cooking facilities were there should you need them but i didn’t.

  Got a deal online and managed to get a studio suite, and feel like I got value for money. The east-facing rooms overlook a large grassed area so the view is pretty good. The room was fairly well maintained, it was clean and tidy. The only problem I had (breaker went out) was solved very quick. On the ground floor there are several restaurants plus a bar with casino facilities as well. The hotel is well situated and isn't far from Glenelg's shopping strip and tram station, so it's also easy to get into Adelaide proper from there.

  Fabulous apartment room. Very clean and fully equipped kitchen. Great location with the beach at the backdoor and very close proximity to Jetty road and restaurants.

  Wifi was adequate but slow for today’s market. Only criticism like most places no charging points or even accessible plugs near bedside for phone charging etc.

  Location was the only thing about the oaks that was good. The service would be 0 out of 10. The staff are rude and unhelpful. We stayed as part of our wedding. On arrival they had lost our booking for our room for the night and managed to get us a room that was no where near the bridal suite that we paid for. we were staying a second night so we wouldn't have to pack the car full of all the wedding gear and could relax for a day before having to pack it all. But because they stuffed up and the bride and groom had no room we had to check out then wait around in the lobby for 3 hours while we waited for another room to be ready(room was organised by the lovely people at the glenelg pier not the oaks) when my wife checked in on the previous day there were 3 rooms to be checked into. All 3 bookings were lost. Mother of bride was double charged her bond. The elevator door closed on my leg pinning it against a baggage trolley. I will not return to the oaks and will discourage others from staying also

  I had a room facing the grass activity area on the non beach side and there was plenty going on if you like people watching.

  Stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Room was big enough for 2 adults and 3 kids comfortably. The kids loved the pool and room service breakfast was good. Access to beach and Glenelg main street 5 minutes walk. Highly recommended.

  All in all I would definitely book here on my next visit.

  I liked this place. People had recommended I stay in the Stamford close by but I stuck with this.
